ASBESTOS AWARENESS COURSE: A GUIDE TO OPERATING & WORKING SAFELY AROUND AND WITH ACM's
WHO THE TRAINING IS INTENDED FOR:
Plumbers, Electrician, Painters, Phone Engineers, Property / Site Maintenance workers and any person who may be involved in conducting work on buildings
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To enable delegates to understand the requirements of the control of asbestos regulations when undertaking works and the effects of asbestos containing materials.
This programme is conducted on an informal basis, involving the delegates to discuss issues around working practices, which may bring them into contact with ACM's and reviewing the facts of health effects and the type of asbestos materials and their use.
At the end of the course delegates will understand:-
- What asbestos is and its uses
- Where ACM's are likely to be found
- Health impact
- Limitations of working with ACM's
