SUPERVISORS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME - 5 DAYS

WHO THE TRAINING IS INTENDED FOR:
Site based gangers, Foreman and new Supervisors to enable them to understand and appreciate the full range of skills required by a supervisor in the Construction Industry.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to introduce the delegates to all of the competencies required for a basic Supervisory role. It will improve their current skill levels by:
1. Understanding the organising and planning resources role for plant, materials, cost and time frames.
2. Manage the interaction between clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
3. Communicate the job through site drawings, health and safety documentation, toolbox talks and temporary works.
4. Deal effectively with everyday health, safety and welfare including subcontractors, environmental issues and risk management.
5. Controlling the work process through the checking of materials and specifications, condition of contract, dealing with unforeseen circumstances and the implications of getting it wrong.
