IOSH WORKING SAFELY - 1 DAY DURATION

A basic introduction for all levels of personnel, this short, modular course will enable workers to ensure that their individual and collective actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and that they understand their responsibilities.

It covers basic hazard identification, following health and safety policy, assisting managers with risk assessment, accident reporting and workplace precautions.

IOSH SAFETY FOR SENIOR EXECUTIVES
1 DAY DURATION

This training aims to ensure that health and safety is appreciated by people by people at the most senior levels that have responsibility for strategic decision making.

This course should enable executives to review Policy and Strategy and where necessary, introduce changes to enhance the safety culture within their organisation.

IOSH MANAGING SAFETY - 4 DAY DURATION

This course is for managers, supervisors and personnel responsible for managing their organisations health and safety effectively. It provides the delegates with the knowledge and skills to manage risk and recourses. It covers safety management, basic risk assessment and control, control of hazards, communications and monitoring.

IEMA - FOUNDATION CERTICICATE IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT - 4 DAY DURATION

This course is aimed at those who have only recently become involved in environmental management or for whom environmental management is an integral part of a whole range of responsibilities. At the end of the course, delegates will :-

• Appreciate the background behind environmental issues.
• Understand the ways in which an organisation impacts the environment.
• Appreciate how environmental issues evolve and identify why and how they can be incorporated into the management of the organisation.
• Outline the various means of assesing environmental performance and ways in which a management system works

Delegate rate :- £1,025 plus VAT

The course assessment consists of a multiple choice and short answer test paper and a practical assessment involving environmental input identification and action planning. Successful completion of the course leads to affiliated membership of the institute of environmental management (IEMA).
