The new simplified regulation (CDM 2007) have revised and brought together the existing CDM 1994 and the Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare)
CHSW regulations 1996 into a single regulatory package.

This programme will provide delegates with an overview of the Construction (Design and Management Regulations) approved code of practice and guidance.
Delegates will be introduced to the requirements of the regulations, including the duty holders responsibilities and an introduction to the document ion, the contents of the schedules, including Health, Safety and Welfare provision will be outlined.
Delegates have the option in attending an afternoon session covering risk assessment - Design Planning, Construction and Maintenance issues.
Delegates will expand on the contents of the plan and role with specific reference to the production and communication of risk assessment throughout the life of a structure, examples of using the hierarchy of control will be ab integral element of this session.
